Ash Wednesday is the beginning of the Lent season and for many, that means it is also the first day of a very hungry journey. If you have ever heard of fasting then you know that it is something akin to a hunger strike… or is it?

Like most of the practices of the faith the true meaning of fasting, and Ash Wednesday, are kinda lost in the shuffle. But before you get lost in the struggle…

So, in honour of Yeshua’s 40 days in the desert being tempted and tested, and the founders of the faith who wandered for 40 yrs lost along their way, let’s get back to the heart of the purpose, before committing to the ‘empty’ pain.

*This is probably the most technical sermon Rev.Rynn has ever done, but it is by request, as we have received many inquiries on ‘how to’ regarding Biblical fasting. The second half of the sermon is awfully dry… so bear with us as we get the technicalities out of the way.

** Rev.Rynn offers these reflections for educational purposes only and does not claim to be a qualified health practitioner. Please seek guidance from an appropriate source who can assess your needs personally if you plan to take on a fasting practice.

Come advantage a truly unique perspective with a theosophical theologian in this rare opportunity to explore what the Biblical texts are still speaking into our lives today.

The StrixLand Run Ministries Mission Statement:

As a biblically-based Christian, Rynn teaches from the Bible itself rather than any particular tradition or denomination. Her ordination is independent so that she could actually go into churches of many different denominations, and countries that weren’t receptive to particular ones, in order to help them reconcile to the Bible and the faith of the people. She also has a platform where she will not teach about anything that she cannot reconcile back to the Bible and the Word of God. That means that all of her programs must be held accountable to that plumb-line, even if you can’t see it. Although she often uses the languages of legends and other traditions in order to deliver the messages for those who would not be receptive to the Christian language, her teachings are always rooted back in her faith as a Christian and her ministry of reconciling people to the primordial and praeternatural design that God had for their life.

**Note Bene:

Rynn teaches that the name ‘Jesus’ as we know it today, was an Anglo Saxon mispronunciation of a Romanized spelling of the Hebrew name יֵשׁוּעַ, Yeshua.

In an effort to honour the man who walked this Earth, on whom the Christian faith is founded, she uses the closest her tongue can get to his Hebrew name, as he was a Hebrew man and devout practitioner of the faith.

To make the distinction between the doctrine developed in his name as the Christ, which is often the crux of the issue, from the man and what he did and said as a minster of his faith, the former is referred to as Jesus, the latter as Yeshua.

Rev.Rynn understands how damaging misunderstandings and misinterpretations about the Bible and practises of the faith can be for someone.

So her mission is to help you understand the true root of the biblical texts in their context, so that you can reconcile your relationship with God beyond how religions have wounded.

There are so many scriptures, rites, and practices that folks unconsciously participate in and have almost completely forgotten the meaning of - if they ever knew - rendering those precepts of faith meaningless.

It has made it almost impossible for many to fully have faith or accept God as a living, breathing character in their lives.

Rather than throw God out with religion… let’s dive into the texts and find out what He meant for you and asked of you in the first place to help you reconcile to an authentic faith based on Truth, Hope, and Love.

‘And so, dear brothers and sister, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice–the kind He will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him. Don’t copy the behaviours and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.’

~ Romans 12: 1-2, The Holy Bible, NLT

A Testimonial:

“…a ministry for reconciling God’s people to Himself… for those who have forgotten how to hear His voice for themselves, there comes a voice from the wilderness. For years I prayed for understanding that would reconcile me to God, I just could not connect and find Him beneath the doctrine. And as she came back from her time feral in the mountains, Rynn truly is that wild Christian voice whispering in my prayers. It was like she could hear my prayers, and spoke directly to them as God’s mouthpiece. I have witnessed her prophecies come to life, both in my life and womb, and in the world. I have seen what can only be described as miracles follow in her path… She brought my eyes for God back to life. I pray the world has eyes to see and ears to hear what she holds dear to show them… for it is God among them.”

Learn more about what the deeper meaning of the Biblical texts and Scriptures actually have to say about anomalous experiences and being sensitive to the spiritual realm.

With the release of 40 Sermons, Lectures, teachings, Devotionals, and Bible Study Guides there is much to dive into.

Rev.Rynn is here for those who struggle to reconcile giftedness and the spirituality that burns forth from their heart with what they believe the Bible declairs about engaging with the supernatural, paranormal, and spiritual domain.

Although the Bible was written by mystics and prophets, somehow the gifted have been left out of the resultant faith. Although all believers and hopefuls long to witness the divine for themselves, somehow those who seek this are shamed for being ungrounded and impractical.

For anyone who has ever experienced that moment when you feel something beyond yourself, in a moment of worship or moved by music or words or nature, which are all how the Holy Spirit moves in this world, it is impossible to not believe that there is, in fact, a supernatural…

‘But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love.

‘And you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering. Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgement. Show mercy still to others, but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives.

‘Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into His glorious presence without a single fault. All glory to Him who alone is God, our Saviour through Jesua Christos our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are His before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.’

~ Jude 20-25, The Holy Bible, NLT

Worship Opportunities…

Live Worship Experiences

Beyond tuning in to listen online, at certain points in the year Rynn will offer a live worship experience, dedication ceremonies, baptisms, handfasting rituals / renewal of vows, sacrament of the Eucharist, guest speaking at churches and Inspired Sermon on the Mound opportunities. + select services during the Adventure & relentless Series’.

The Inspired Sermon on the Mound

is a roving ministry. In these events, Attendees will meet at a trail head and go for a hike to have a truly inspired worship experience where the contents of the service is inspired by the experiences we have along the journey.

These are great opportunities for those who struggle to see God as an active participant in their life to get an opportunity as Rev. Rynn points out the movement of God - manifestations and appearances of His effects on our natural world. It’s a great way to marry nature as our host with the word of God as The Host with enough space for the Holy Spirit to truly move in a way that is recognized.

Note Bene - Disclaimer on Bible Translations:

If doing personal devotions and reading the Bible for yourself, I strongly suggest you use the NLT: New Living Translation. This is because the text was interpreted under a rigorous set of controls, as I understand it based on what I recall from my mentor, who was a translator on the NLT team for Job. These controls included individual groups comprised of different faiths, including atheism, who were only given access to one section so as not to allow any one doctrine’s agenda to taint the interpretation. The different sections were then compared and found to be consistent, regardless of the hundreds of different opinions involved. This text was translated from a comparison of the Hebrew and Greek texts, as old as they could find, and was done after the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, including them as a checks and balances to see what had gone astray… as they had been untouched in a cave for centuries.

Therefore, it’s about as close as we can get in English to the original intentions of the texts. God promises that His sacred words would be protected (Matt. 5:18)… I believe this is how He does it.

* All those participating in the Bible Studies are required to use an NLT in their readings… you’ll get pretty confused if you don’t ;)

Straight from the Source

New Living Translation

How is God preserving the integrity of the Word of God when there are so many different translations?

Suggested readings: if only reading one book of the Bible - make it Romans, as it sums up the entirety of the teachings. *the Foundations of Faith Sermon Series does cover a lot of the teachings from this book.

If two…. choose the Gospel that is written in the language that makes sense to you. Each is the account of Yeshua’s life and ministry, but written by very different people, with very different perspectives, who thought different things were important.

‘“Love the Lord your God, walk in all His ways, obey His commands, hold firmly to Him, and serve Him with all your heart and all your soul.” So Joshua blessed them and sent them away, and they went home.’
